In 2050’s Hong Kong scenario, cage houses still exist abound due to the overpopulation problem. The limited acreage of the island will force increased of urban density. Developers have to build more crowded buildings to meet the demand of residences. But rising housing prices have eased Under the regulation of the government. The establishment of traffic control and innovation of information technology result in a new lifestyle that in most cases people could approach their work at home. This mode is still at a groping stage. In order to encourage it, the Hong Kong government provides the housing support for the first wave of work-at-home civilian staffs. For example, much better service facilities and resident condition are included in it, such as the multifunctional Murphy bed (figure 1 ).

The multifunctional Murphy bed has three different forms of use. Basically, it is a single bed ( figure 2 ), it also could be flipped open as a double bed (figure 3 ). The bed frame made by light oak, and the surface is sinking (figure 4 ). There is a fully automatic thermostatically controlled system in this area, the temperature could be shown on the small display device, therefore, quilt will be no longer necessary. The shape of surface conforms to the kinesiology principle, people can use cushion to meet their needs (figure 6 ).

Once the user put the bed up against wall ( figure 7 ), it could be opened to 45 degrees and become a private workspace ( figure 8 ). A folding chair is comprised of three oak boards with a plastic chair handle ( figure 9 ). The desktop and screen also could be pulled out from another wrong side of the bed ( figure 10 ).

On the other hand, this assumption still faces a challenge. Users focus on the advantage of it, but actually, the difficulty of supervision will be increased. Working hours are no longer restricted, the government can only utilize the arrangement of fixed workload for employees to ensure their work efficiency. A computer working supervision software being developed at that time, which may further results in a worst case scenario.
